As a former college athlete and current business executive, Katie is always seeking to establish inner balance and harmony - her yoga journey started in 2004 as a lacrosse player with very tight quads.
Soon after beginning her yoga teaching journey in 2012, Katie recognized a need to work with clients on a more individual basis to help them address particular health conditions, whether they are physical, mental, or emotional. This interest led to further studies in: prenatal yoga and Prema Yoga Institute program. Katie received 1,000 hours of training and established herself as a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She has also always been interested in energy healing, and is working towards becoming a Sound Healing Practitioner through the Atma Buti® Sound and Vibrational School. Katie strongly believes that we all play an integral role in helping our families, and ourselves, heal.
She is forever grateful to her teachers and mentors including Keith Partington, Dana Slamp, Johanna Bell, Jeannette Sealy, Julia Abramova, and their teachers for this wisdom and knowledge. As well as her family and ancestors, for giving her great lessons about life to learn and share—and to you for being here.
